Gold Coating

Gold Coating is an installation of assembled abandoned household materials and found objects covered and hidden by gold sprayed coats(to be exact, toile, test garments). The viewers are invited to look into the sleeves and discover a chaotic world created by the materials (ie; light bulbs and tables and chairs, cars, etc.) that are no longer needed by our 21st century living. This installation raises a fundamental question about what materials we really need and what made those materials wastes. Thus, Coating the wastes by coats coated (spray painted) by gold that seems valuable.
